Once upon a time, in a glen, lived a hen. She had a den, full of ten gem-filled pens.
One day, a men, named Ben, came to the glen. "Hello, Hen. Have you seen my red gem?" asked Ben.
Hen shook her head, "No, Ben. But come in. I've got a gem-filled den."
Ben stepped in. His eyes went wide seeing the gems glinting, then he grinned. "What a gem of a den!"
Just then, Hen brought out a tin. "It's not a gem, Ben, but I've got something that might make you grin," she said.
Ben opened the tin and let out a cheer. Inside was a sweet, creamy, chocolate gem. "You're right, Hen! This makes me grin even more than a gem!"
From then, Ben loved his chocolate gem more than any gem in the glen.
