A Visit to Port of Spain

Hi, my name is Mia and I am 8 years old. Today, I want to tell you about my amazing visit to the city of Port of Spain in Trinidad and Tobago. It was so much fun!

First, let me tell you a bit about Port of Spain. It is the capital city of Trinidad and Tobago, which is a beautiful island country in the Caribbean. The city is full of tall buildings, colorful houses, and friendly people. There are so many things to see and do!

One of the coolest places I visited in Port of Spain was the Queen's Park Savannah. It's a huge park right in the middle of the city. There are wide open spaces where you can run and play, and lots of trees to hide under. My favorite part was the big, round track where people like to ride their bicycles or go for walks. I even saw some kids flying kites in the park!

In the park, there is also a really famous place called the Magnificent Seven. It's a row of seven beautiful and colorful houses. Each house looks different and has a special story. I loved looking at all the different colors, especially the bright pink one!

After exploring the park, my family and I went to a local market called the Central Market. It was a bustling place with lots of vendors selling fruits, vegetables, and traditional crafts. I tried some delicious tropical fruits like mangoes and pineapples. Yum!
