All about Thomas Moore

Thomas Moore was a famous man who lived a long time ago. He was born in 1478 in England. Thomas Moore was very smart and went to school to study many things. He became a lawyer and a writer when he grew up. He even worked for the king of England!

Thomas Moore was a kind man who believed in doing what was right. He didn't agree with the king about some things and he stood up for what he believed in. He didn't want the king to be in charge of the church, so he spoke out against it. This made the king angry and Thomas Moore was put in jail.

Even though he was in jail, Thomas Moore stayed true to his beliefs. He was a brave man who didn't give up. Sadly, he was punished for his beliefs and he was executed in 1535.

Thomas Moore is remembered as a hero who stood up for what he believed in, even when it was hard. He is an inspiration to people who believe in doing what is right, no matter the consequences.

A Visit to Ireland
