Hi, I'm Riley and I just turned 8! I live in a cool place called Springfield, Co. Wicklow. It's in Ireland! There are loads of fun things to do here. The best part is the Sugarloaf Mountain. It's not like a regular mountain, it's a volcano! But don’t worry, it’s an old one. We sometimes go there for a picnic and the view from the top is the best!
Also, we have an awesome beach called Brittas Bay. The sand is so soft and the water is so blue, it's like a real-life postcard. Sometimes we even see dolphins! My little brother and I love building sandcastles there.
There's a magical place in my town, too. It's called the Powerscourt Waterfall. It's the highest waterfall in Ireland! It's surrounded by beautiful trees and sometimes you can see deer. I once saw a red squirrel there, too!
I also love going to the Wicklow Gaol. It's an old jail turned into a museum. It can be a bit spooky but I love learning about the history of my hometown.
