One of the best things about Shanagarry is the Ballymaloe Cookery School. I don't cook but I love how it smells when I walk by. The smell of fresh bread and cookies always makes me hungry! Sometimes, they have classes for kids. I hope I can join one soon!
Another awesome place is the Shanagarry Design Centre. They have lots of cool things made by Irish artists. My mom buys a lot of gifts there. I like to look at all the colorful things they have.
Right next to it is the Stephen Pearce Pottery. I love watching the potters make beautiful things out of clay. They told me it’s like playing with mud, but in a grown-up way. I can't wait to grow up so I can do that too!
