Symbols and Traditions

Hi! My name is Isabella and I am 8 years old. I want to tell you about my trip to Figueres. Figueres is a town in Spain and it is famous because of a very cool artist named Salvador Dalí. He made lots of weird and amazing art.

When I was in Figueres, I visited the Dalí Theatre-Museum. It was so big and colorful! There were giant eggs on the roof and a big glass dome. Inside, there were lots of strange paintings and sculptures. My favorite part was the room that looked like a face when you looked at it from a special place. Dalí's art is so different from anything I've ever seen. It made me feel like I was in a dream.

We also saw some of Dalí’s jewelry. They were so sparkly and looked like they were from a fairy tale. I think Dalí was very creative and had a big imagination. I had so much fun and learned a lot about art and how you can make anything you dream of.
