R.J. Palacio is a wonderful author who wrote the amazing book "Wonder." Her real name is Raquel Jaramillo, but she uses the nickname R.J. Palacio when she writes. She wanted to write a story that teaches people to be kind and accepting of others, no matter how different they may look or act. "Wonder" is about a boy named Auggie who has a facial difference and his journey through school and making friends. R.J.
