My Family and Newtown Blackrock

Hi, I'm Finley and I'm 8 years old. I live in Newtown Blackrock, Co. Dublin, and it's super cool here! My house is near the Blackrock Park and I love going there with my friends. We play on the swings and sometimes we feed ducks at the pond. It's so much fun!

Just down the street from my house is Blackrock Market. My mum and dad take me there on weekends. We see lots of different things, like old books, vintage clothes, and yummy food. I once got a comic book from there. It's my favourite!

Close to where I live is also the Blackrock Castle. It's really old and big. My school took us on a trip there once and it was awesome! We learned about the history and even pretended to be knights and princesses. I love living in Newtown Blackrock, it's the best place ever!
