My Family and Mweennalaa

Hi, I'm Casey! I'm 8 years old and I live in Mweennalaa, Co. Kerry. It's a really cool place to grow up in because there's always something fun to do. Did you know that we have the most amazing mountains right here? The MacGillycuddy's Reeks are the best for climbing. Well, only when mom and dad are with me.

We also have a wonderful beach, called Inch Beach. My brother and I love building sandcastles there and looking out for dolphins. Sometimes, if we're lucky, we can even see them jumping in the sea!

Oh, and there's also the Skellig Michael. It's an island not too far from here. It's famous because it was used in a Star Wars movie. I haven't seen it yet, but dad says when I'm a little older, we can take a boat trip there.
