Hi! I'm Sam and I'm 8 years old. I live in a cool place called Muingnabo in Co. Mayo. It's really fun here because there are so many things to see and do! There's this big hill near my house, it's called Nephin. Sometimes, we take a picnic and go hiking there. It's really high and the top is the best part because I can see the whole town!
We also have a really old church here, it's called the Ballintubber Abbey. It's super old, like a thousand years old! My school took us there once and I learned a lot about history. The tour guide said people from all over come to see it.
There's also a cool lake called Lough Conn. In summer, we go fishing there and sometimes we even catch something! My dad says it's the best place for fishing. I think it's the best place for skipping stones.
