All about Mother Teresa |
Mother Teresa was a very kind and caring woman who lived a long time ago. She was born in 1910 in a place called Skopje, which is now part of North Macedonia. When she grew up, she became a nun and decided to help people who were poor and sick.
Mother Teresa moved to India and started a group called the Missionaries of Charity. With her sisters, she helped many people who were homeless, hungry, and sick. She opened homes for the poor and those who were dying, providing them with food, shelter, and love.
Mother Teresa believed that everyone deserved to be treated with kindness and respect, no matter who they were. She won many awards for her work, including the Nobel Peace Prize. People all over the world admired her for her compassion and dedication to helping others.
Even though Mother Teresa passed away in 1997, her legacy lives on. She showed us that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference in the world. She inspired many people to help those in need and to always be kind to others.
