A Visit to Antananarivo

Hi, my name is Jack and I am 8 years old. Today, I want to tell you all about my amazing visit to the city of Antananarivo in Madagascar. It was so exciting!

Antananarivo is a big city with lots of tall buildings and busy streets. We went there on a family vacation and it was my first time visiting a city this big. I was so thrilled!

One of the coolest things we did in Antananarivo was visiting the Rova of Antananarivo. It's a really old palace that sits on top of a big hill. We had to climb a lot of stairs to reach it, but the view from up there was incredible! I could see the whole city and even the surrounding countryside. It was like being on top of the world!

Inside the Rova, there were so many interesting things to see. I learned about the history of Madagascar and the kings and queens who used to live there. I saw beautiful decorations and even some ancient artifacts. It was like stepping back in time!

After visiting the Rova, we walked around the city and explored the local markets. There were so many colorful fruits, vegetables, and crafts for sale. I even got to try some delicious street food, like samosas and grilled corn. Yum!

I had the best time in Antananarivo. It was a city full of surprises and new experiences. I can't wait to go back someday and explore more of Madagascar.
