Hi! I'm Bailey and I'm 8 years old. I live in a beautiful town called Leagard South in Co. Clare. I love it here because it's filled with so many cool things. Like, you won't believe it, but we have this huge, old castle right here in our town! It's called Leagard Castle and it's super big and spooky. I like to imagine that it's filled with knights and princesses.
And guess what? There's also a giant lake nearby called Lough Derg. It's really pretty and I love watching the ducks swim there. My friends and I sometimes have picnics by the lake, it's so much fun!
I think the best thing about Leagard South is the people though. Everyone is so friendly and nice, and there are loads of kids my age to play with. We love exploring the fields around town, and climbing the big oak tree in the park.
Oh, and did I mention the food? We have this awesome bakery that makes the best chocolate chip cookies in the world! I love living in Leagard South, it's the best place ever!
