Welcome to Knockmore

Knockmore is a quiet place where friendly people live. It doesn't have a lot of big buildings or busy streets like a city. Instead, it has green fields and cozy homes. It's been that way for a long time, even back when your great-great-great-grandparents were children!

While Knockmore may not have famous battles or grand palaces in its history, it has stories of hardworking people who loved their land. They farmed, raised animals, and built their homes here.

There are also old ruins in Knockmore that whisper stories from a long time ago. Who knows, maybe there were knights and princesses who once lived there!

My Family and Knockmore

Hi there! I'm Kelly, and I just turned 8. I live in a beautiful place called Knockmore in Co. Cork. It's the best place to grow up, let me tell you why.

Knockmore is wonderful, with its green hills and amazing landscapes. My house is near a big, old oak tree that's been here longer than any of us. I like to climb it and imagine I'm on top of the world.

One of my favourite places in Knockmore is the local pond. It's filled with so many frogs and ducks. Sometimes I go there with my friends and we have fun trying to catch tadpoles.

There's also this awesome old castle ruins not too far from my house. It's called Carrigaphooca Castle. The castle is scary and cool at the same time. We play knights and princesses there and it's so much fun!

Everyday in Knockmore is an adventure and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I can't wait to grow more here and discover new things. That's all for now. Bye!
