My Family and Kilmore

Hi, I'm Morgan and I'm 8 years old. I live in a lovely place called Kilmore in Co. Cork. It's a small town, but there's a lot of cool things here. We have a big church, it's called St. Patrick's. It's very old and very big. I like it because it looks like a castle.

Just outside Kilmore, there's a beautiful forest called Kilmore Woods. I go there with my family on Sundays. We love to walk and play there. There's a big, old oak tree in the middle of the forest. It's my favourite tree, because it is so tall and strong. It's like a giant!

There's also a river running through Kilmore, it's called the Bandon River. Sometimes, I see people fishing there. I tried fishing once, but I didn't catch anything. It was still fun though. My town may be small, but it's full of surprises. I love living in Kilmore, Co. Cork.
