A Visit to City Drawings Series

Hi, my name is Chloe and I'm 8 years old. Today, I want to tell you about the amazing visit I had to a gallery in Dublin, Ireland. It was so much fun!

My mom took me to the gallery because she knows how much I love art. The gallery had a special exhibit called City Drawings Series, by Kathy Prendergast. It was all about different cities from around the world. Can you believe it? I saw drawings of cities like London, Paris, New York, and even Tokyo! But the one that caught my eye the most was the drawing of my favorite city, Dublin.

The drawing showed all the famous landmarks of Dublin, like the Spire, the Ha'penny Bridge, and even the beautiful Trinity College. It made me feel so proud of my city! I could recognize all the places I've been to with my family. It was like a big puzzle, but with buildings instead of pieces.

After the gallery, we went to visit another tourist attraction in Dublin called Dublin Zoo. It was so exciting! I got to see all kinds of animals, like elephants, lions, and even penguins. My favorite part was when we saw the giraffes up close. They were so tall! I wished I could be as tall as a giraffe.
