A Visit to Amman

Hi everyone! My name is Benny, and I am 8 years old. Today, I want to tell you all about my amazing trip to Amman, the capital city of Jordan. It was the most exciting adventure I've ever had!

Amman is a big city with lots of buildings and people. The first thing I noticed when I arrived was the beautiful Citadel, which sits on top of a hill. It's like a big ancient castle! I climbed up the stairs and explored the ruins. It was like stepping back in time!

Inside the Citadel, there is a huge statue called the Temple of Hercules. It's so tall and impressive! I learned that Hercules was a strong hero from ancient stories. Can you believe it? I saw a real statue of a hero!

After exploring the Citadel, my family and I went to the Roman Theater. It's a massive amphitheater where people used to watch plays and concerts a long, long time ago. I pretended to be an actor and stood on the stage, imagining the crowd cheering for me. It was so much fun!

Amman is full of interesting places, but these were my favorite. The Citadel and the Roman Theater made me feel like a time traveler. I can't wait to go back and discover more amazing things!
