All about Joan of Arc

Joan of Arc was a brave and courageous young girl who lived in France many years ago. She was born in a small village and grew up helping her family with farming and taking care of animals. When she was a teenager, Joan started hearing voices from saints telling her to help the French army fight against the English during the Hundred Years' War.

At just 17 years old, Joan dressed as a boy and convinced the French prince to let her lead an army to fight the English. She was very brave and inspired the soldiers to win many battles. Joan believed she was guided by God to help her country.

Unfortunately, Joan was captured by the English and accused of being a witch. Even though she was only a teenager, Joan showed great strength and courage during her trial. Sadly, she was found guilty and was burned at the stake. Years later, Joan was declared a saint by the Catholic Church for her bravery and faith.

Joan of Arc's story teaches us about courage, determination, and standing up for what we believe in, no matter how young we are.
