A Visit to India

My name is Fiona and I am 8 years old. I recently went on a trip to India with my family, and it was so amazing! One of the places we visited was the Nehru Planetarium in New Delhi. This place is famous because it was established in honor of Jawaharlal Nehru, who was a very important leader in India.

  1. We watched a show at the planetarium about space and the stars. It was so cool to learn about the universe!
  2. There was a giant model of the solar system inside the planetarium. I got to see how all the planets move around the sun.
  3. We also visited the science museum next to the planetarium. I had so much fun doing all the interactive exhibits there!
  4. After our visit, I learned more about Jawaharlal Nehru and how he was the first Prime Minister of India. It was really interesting to learn about his life and his contributions to the country.
  5. I can't wait to visit more places in India and learn more about its history and culture!
