A Visit to New Delhi

Hi, my name is Jack and I am 8 years old. I want to tell you all about my recent visit to New Delhi, the capital city of India. It was such an exciting trip filled with new experiences!

When we arrived in New Delhi, I was amazed by the hustle and bustle of the city. There were so many people and colorful buildings everywhere! One of the places we visited was the famous Red Fort. It was huge and made of beautiful red stones. I felt like a prince walking through the grand entrance and exploring the historical rooms inside. I even imagined myself as a brave warrior defending the fort from enemies!

Inside the fort, there was a museum with ancient artifacts and paintings. I learned so much about the history of India and how the Mughal emperors used to live. It was like stepping back in time! Outside the fort, there were big gardens where I ran around and played with other kids. We flew kites and laughed together. It was so much fun!

One of the things I loved most about New Delhi was the food. We ate delicious street food like samosas and chaat. The flavors were so different from what I'm used to, but I enjoyed trying new things. I even learned how to use my fingers to eat like the locals do!

Visiting New Delhi was an unforgettable experience. I loved every moment of it and I can't wait to go back one day. It was a trip filled with history, culture, and lots of adventures. If you ever get a chance, make sure to visit this incredible city!
