My Family and Graiguenamanagh

Hi, I'm Casey, I'm 8 years old and I live in a place called Graiguenamanagh in County Kilkenny. I love it here! One of my favourite places is Duiske Abbey. It's a big old church right in the centre of our town. Sometimes, I like to sit in the park across from the Abbey and draw pictures of it.

We also have a beautiful river, the River Barrow. It's super fun in the summer because we can go swimming and have picnics by the river. Plus, there are lots of ducks and swans to feed.

Another cool thing about Graiguenamanagh is the Graiguenamanagh-Tinnahinch Bridge. It's really old and connects our town to the town of Tinnahinch on the other side of the river. I like to wave to the cars as they pass by.

I think the best thing about living here is the people. Everyone is so friendly. I know all my neighbours and they know me. I can't wait to grow up here and see even more of Graiguenamanagh.
