Visit to the Birthplace of The Secret Garden

When we arrived in Huntly, we visited a tourist attraction called the Huntly Castle. It was so cool! The castle was built a long, long time ago and it has big, tall walls and towers. I felt like a knight exploring a real castle! We even climbed up the stairs to the top of one of the towers and the view was breathtaking.

After exploring the castle, we walked around the town and saw some beautiful old buildings. It was like stepping back in time! I imagined what it would be like to live there when George MacDonald was a little boy.
