A Visit to Addis Ababa

Hi, my name is Tim and I am 8 years old. Today, I want to tell you about my exciting visit to the beautiful city of Addis Ababa in Ethiopia. It was an amazing adventure that I will never forget!

Addis Ababa is the capital city of Ethiopia. It is a big city with tall buildings, bustling streets, and lots of friendly people. I went there with my family during our vacation, and we had so much fun exploring this vibrant city.

One of the places we visited in Addis Ababa was the National Museum of Ethiopia. It was super cool! Inside the museum, there were many interesting things to see. I learned about Lucy, one of the oldest human ancestors ever discovered. It was fascinating to see her skeleton and imagine what life was like so long ago.

We also saw beautiful traditional Ethiopian artifacts and artwork at the museum. I loved looking at the colorful paintings and intricate carvings. It made me appreciate the rich culture and history of Ethiopia even more.

Apart from the museum, we also explored other parts of Addis Ababa. We visited local markets where we saw vibrant fabrics, delicious food, and handmade crafts. I even bought a small wooden elephant as a souvenir to remember my trip.

Addis Ababa is such an exciting city with so much to offer. I am grateful that I got the chance to visit and learn about Ethiopia's rich history and culture. It was an adventure I will always cherish!
