She started acting in movies when she was just 10 years old! Elizabeth became very famous for her beautiful violet eyes and her amazing acting skills.

One of her most famous movies is "National Velvet," where she played a girl who loved horses. She won many awards for her acting, including two Academy Awards, which are like big trophies for movie stars.

Elizabeth Taylor was also known for her glamorous lifestyle. She got married eight times to seven different men! One of her most famous husbands was Richard Burton, and they acted together in many movies.

Apart from acting, Elizabeth Taylor was very kind and helped many people. She worked hard to raise money and awareness for people who were sick with AIDS, a serious illness. She started a foundation to help them, called the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation.

Hi, my name is Emily and I’m 8 years old. I want to tell you about my super cool trip to Hollywood. Hollywood is this really famous place in California where a lot of movies are made and famous people live. One of the most famous people from Hollywood was Elizabeth Taylor. My mom says she was a big movie star and very beautiful.

We visited this place called the TCL Chinese Theatre. It's a big movie theater and lots of famous people have come here for their movie premieres. Outside the theater, there are handprints and footprints of famous stars in the cement. I got to see Elizabeth Taylor’s handprints! It was really exciting because she was such a big deal in Hollywood. My mom told me that Elizabeth Taylor starred in movies like "Cleopatra" and "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof."

We took lots of pictures and I even got a postcard with Elizabeth Taylor on it. I felt like I was part of something really special. Hollywood is a magical place and I hope I can go back someday to see more cool stuff.
