Visit to the Birthplace of Charlotte's Web

Hi, my name is Penny and I am 8 years old. Today, I want to share with you about my recent visit to the birthplace of one of my favorite authors, E.B. White. It was such an exciting adventure!

We traveled to Mount Vernon, which is a city located in the state of New York, USA. This is where E.B. White was born on July 11, 1899. Can you believe that he wrote famous stories like Charlotte's Web and Stuart Little? I was so inspired by his books, so visiting his birthplace was a dream come true!

While we were in Mount Vernon, we also visited a famous tourist attraction called The Bronx Zoo. It was amazing! I saw so many different animals like lions, giraffes, and elephants. My favorite part was watching the sea lion show. They were so clever and funny!
