My Family and Cregganmore

Hiya! I'm Riley and I'm 8 years old. I live in a place called Cregganmore in Co. Mayo. It's a really cool place to grow up! There are lots of fun things to do and see here.

My favourite place is the Cregganmore Stone Circle. It's super old—like hundreds of years! Sometimes, my friends and I pretend we're time travellers when we play there. We imagine the people who built it and the stories they could tell.

There's also a great big forest near my house where I love to go exploring. I've seen deer, foxes, and once I even saw a badger! I love to look for different animals and plants.

We also live near the sea. The beach is the best! We build sandcastles, look for seashells and sometimes we even go swimming (but only when it's warm!).

Living in Cregganmore is fun because there's always something to do. It's really the best place to be a kid!
