My Family and Carrowntober

Hi! My name is Riley and I'm 8 years old. I live in a cool place called Carrowntober in Co. Sligo. It's really fun to grow up here because there are lots of interesting things to see and do.

One of my favourite places is the Carrowkeel Megalithic Cemetery. It's a very old place with ancient tombs. I always wonder who lived there and what their life was like. It's kind of spooky, but also exciting!

Another great spot is the Lough Gill. It's a huge lake with lots of fish. Sometimes, we go fishing and boating there. I also love the stories about the lake monster. I haven't seen it yet, but who knows!

I also love the mountains around here. The Ox Mountains are so tall and I love climbing them. From the top, you can see the whole Sligo. It's the best view ever!

So, that's a little bit about me and where I live. It's a fun place to grow up and I can't wait to have more adventures here. Bye for now!
