My Family and Caherbullig

Hi, I'm Ira and I'm 8 years old! I live in a wonderful place called Caherbullig in Co. Kerry. It's really pretty here, with lots and lots of green fields and tall hills. There's a big lake near my house where I go fishing with my dad. It's called Lough Leane and it's super cool because it's the largest of the three lakes of Killarney.

I also love going to Ross Castle. It's really old and I like to imagine knights and princesses living there long ago. Mum says it was built in the late 15th century! Can you believe it? I play around there with my friends, we pretend to be the knights guarding the castle!

There's also a park near my house with the tallest slide! It's my favourite place to play. I make friends there and we play tag and hide and seek till it's time for dinner. Living in Caherbullig is super fun!
