Visit to the Birthplace of The Chronicles of Narnia series

Hi, my name is Zoe and I am 8 years old. Today, I want to tell you about an amazing adventure I had during my family vacation. We visited the birthplace of one of my favorite authors, C.S. Lewis! We were in Belfast, Northern Ireland, which is the nearest city to C.S. Lewis's birthplace.

We started our day by exploring the beautiful city of Belfast. We visited the famous Titanic Belfast, a museum all about the Titanic ship. It was so cool to see the replica of the ship and learn about its history. I even got to touch a real iceberg! Can you imagine that?

After our visit to the museum, we headed to C.S. Lewis's birthplace, which is in a town called Belfast as well. I couldn't contain my excitement as we walked through the front door of the house where he was born. It was like stepping into the pages of one of his magical books!

Inside the house, there were lots of exhibits showcasing C.S. Lewis's life and his famous Chronicles of Narnia series. I learned that he used to play in the garden right outside the house, which is now a beautiful park. I imagined myself exploring the magical land of Narnia just like the characters in his books.

Visiting the birthplace of C.S. Lewis was an unforgettable experience. It made me appreciate his stories even more and inspired me to keep reading and writing my own adventures. I can't wait to discover more about my favorite authors in the future!
