A Visit to Yangon

Hi, my name is Charlie and I am 8 years old. Today, I want to tell you about my awesome visit to Yangon, a city in Myanmar. It was such an exciting adventure!

One of the coolest things about Yangon is that it is the hometown of Aung San Suu Kyi, a really famous lady. She fought for the rights of the people in Myanmar and is super important to the country. I learned about her in school, so I was really excited to visit Yangon and see where she lived.

One of the places I visited in Yangon was the Aung San Suu Kyi House. It's a tourist attraction that used to be her actual house! I couldn't believe I was standing in the same place where she lived. Inside, I saw photographs and learned more about her life and her fight for freedom. It was so inspiring!
