Dublin's Botanic Gardens Hosts Annual Autumn Festival

Good day, young newshounds! We're here to share some exciting news about the beautiful season of autumn. A special event occurred in Dublin's Botanic Gardens. It was the annual Autumn Festival!

As the leaves changed from green to shades of red, orange, and yellow, the Botanic Gardens became a big, colourful playground. Children and grown-ups came from all parts of Ireland to see the dazzling display.

The festival was a day filled with fun activities. One of the favourites was the leaf-catching contest. Children ran around, laughing and trying to catch falling leaves. The winner was a little girl named Aoife, who managed to catch 10 leaves in a minute!

Apart from the games, there were stalls selling delicious foods like apple tarts and pumpkin soup - traditional autumn treats. You could also learn how to make bird feeders from pine cones. This is a great way to help our feathered friends as food becomes scarce in winter.

Everyone left the festival with happy faces, carrying bags of harvested apples and pumpkins. It was a day to remember, reminding us all of the beauty and bounty of autumn.

This is Ciara reporting from the Botanic Gardens in Dublin, reminding you that every leaf speaks bliss to me, falling from the autumn tree. See you next time!
